Should the total value of items (including fresh meat and meat items) exceed CHF 300.-- then all purchases are subject to payment of duty. It is not possible for one person to collect the duty-free purchases of several persons and present them as a 'duty-free package': Duty would have to be paid on the whole lot. Apart from the above restrictions, tobacco and alcohol in the quantities given are duty-free. Duty-free clearance is guaranteed daily. Only for goods (travel goods excepted) personally brought to the customs upon crossing the frontier.
