The biggest ski area of the eastern Alps that unites the two winter sport paradises Samnaun on the Swiss side and Ischgl on the Austrian side offers something for every snow fan. 40 top modern transport installations, among them the Samnaun Twin-liner, the world's first double-decker cabin railway, bring carver, snowboarder and Co. to the realization of their dreams.

The term 'limitless skiing' can truly be said of the Silvretta Arena Samnaun / Ischgl. And snow sport enthusiasts find total fulfilment on the 235 piste-kilometres. Some of the pistes start thereby exactly on the invisible Swiss-Austria frontier. So, perhaps without noticing it, you become international, for it is quite possible that you have your left foot in Austria while your right foot is still in Switzerland. The approx. 40 km black, 130 km red and 40 km blue pistes offer a sheer inexhaustible diversity and innumerable opportunities of variation. For example follow the course of the sun and enjoy a whole day of pure sunshine, thanks to the valleys of the Silvretta Arena Samnaun / Ischgl. Or carve down the very wide pistes in graceful swinging curves, after all, the Silvretta Arena Samnaun / Ischgl is regarded as one of the birthplaces of carving. To test out the new models the snow sport centre in the mountain station of the double-decker railway is always at your disposal. And if you have any difficulty in making a curve the ski instructors of both ski schools are there to help you.
