Tobogganing
Whether called sledge, sleigh or toboggan, this work tool was for centuries a trusty friend of early alpine man. Today the sledge is enjoying a popular comeback and is not only for the little ones at the top end of the list of the finest winter pleasures.
On two natural tobogganing tracks, either going down fast or leisurely you can enjoy the beautiful aspect of Samnaun valley. At night, with the pistes illuminated by torches, as part of the weekly programme, sledging is original and romantic. Sledges can be hired in all Samnaun sport shops.
