New Year's Eve celebrations in Samnaun – Ring in the new year with winter magic

Experience the turn of the year in a special way – on a leisurely winter hike through the snow-covered forest to the Motta Saltuorn sledding hut. There you will find a crackling campfire, mulled wine, and punch – and, of course, a toast to the new year 2026!

Important information

• Meeting point: 10:30 p.m. at the Votlas car park in Samnaun village
• Please bring your own sledge (ideally two people per sledge)
• Warm clothing and sturdy footwear are required
• Participants are responsible for their own insurance
• In case of bad weather, a torchlight hike will take place (information will be provided by telephone).
• After midnight, we will race back down into the valley on our sleds, laughing all the way. A special bus will be available at 12:30 a.m. to take you back to all districts.
