From Monday, 19 April, events with restricted audiences will be possible again: 100 people outside, 50 people inside. This applies, for example, to sports stadiums, cinemas or theatre and concert venues. Indoor sporting and cultural activities are also permitted again, as are certain competitions. There is a restriction to a maximum of one third of the capacity of the venue, as well as compulsory seating and wearing of masks, a distance of 1.5 metres and a ban on consumption.
Sporting and cultural activities are also permitted again for adults in the amateur sector from 19 April, for individuals or for groups of up to 15 people. Competitions are allowed again under these conditions. Outdoors, either a mask must be worn or the required distance of 1.5 metres must be maintained. Indoors, masks and distance requirements apply. Exceptions are possible, for example, for endurance training in fitness centres or when singing in a choir.
In Switzerland, persons over 12 years of age are required to wear masks in indoor public areas and outdoor areas of institutions and businesses and in busy pedestrian areas. In restaurants and bars, guests may only take off the mask when seated at a table. The obligation to wear a mask also applies to public transport and mountain railways. It remains important to maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 metres and to observe the hygiene rules in order to prevent new infections with the corona virus. The protective measures are valid until further notice and are not limited in time.
Please observe the protection concept of the municipality of Samnaun for public spaces.
Corona rapid tests and PCR tests are offered at the mountain practice in Samnaun-Ravaisch. Every person in Switzerland can be tested for the Corona virus once a week free of charge by means of a rapid test, this regulation applies equally to guests. A medical certificate can be issued for border crossing if required.
PCR tests are still subject to a fee (depending on the case, you may need a PCR test for a trip abroad).
In order to offer guests as well as locals an uncomplicated and simple service, the mountain practice (Pozstrasse 3, 7563 Samnaun-Ravaisch) asks you to register in advance by e-mail (email@example.com) or by telephone (+41 81 822 12 00). Testing times are from 4 to 6 p.m. during the week and by appointment at weekends.
You can also take a corona check on the website of the Federal Office of Public Health, which will help you to assess whether a test is useful.
The recommendations of the Federal Office of Public Health regarding keeping distance and hygiene still apply.
The establishments have a protection concept with concrete measures to protect guests and employees and to ensure that your stay is a pleasant one. This is communicated with the new Clean & Safe label of the Swiss tourism organisations.
We also participate in the Clean & Safe label with the protection concept (PDF) of the Guest Information.
