Via the Fliesseralpe

The route begins in the center of Compatsch and initially leads on a scenic path with gentle ascents to the flower-rich Zander meadows. Across these, after a moderate ascent, you reach the Fliesseralpe, with dining options. The descent is via the Zander valley, first along the slope then along the stream to the Spissermühle (bus). The hike is especially recommended from the time after snowmelt until the cutting of the meadows around the end of July. But even in high summer, you will find a rich variety of flora and the numerous quotations along the path always make a hike on this route worthwhile.

Be sure to plan a stop at Alpe Zander and enjoy the mountain panorama with delicious food and drinks.

You start from the fountain (S) in the center of Compatsch towards the signpost Fliesseralpe / citation hike through the Obere Gasse past the waypoint Compatsch and along a mountainside. During shooting operation, the marked route must be followed slightly below the normal path. After crossing stream beds, you reach a fork in the path that would lead directly to the Fliesseralpe on the right. However, you continue left. Shortly after, there is a fork at a bridge (1), where you could again ascend directly to the Fliesseralpe on the right. Here also go left towards the signpost Circular Hiking Trail Bödra. It now goes steeper uphill. At a fork continue straight ahead. After two hairpin bends, turn right at an altitude of 2020 m (2), first hiking along the slope, then slightly downhill past a hut to a fork in the path (3). Here you go left towards the signpost Fliesseralpe and reach it (4). Return the same way to (5). Continue downhill towards the signpost Spiss / Compatsch. After a bend, follow several forks in the direction of Spiss and Spissermühle. There is a fork at a playground (6). Here go right towards the signpost Spissermühle, cross the Zandersbach and follow the stream downstream to the bus stop on the main road (7).
