International ski resort Samnaun/Ischgl
Whether beginner or expert - the Samnaun / Ischgl ski area has the right thing for every level: from wonderful blue pistes with the best view of the alpine panorama to steep descents. Look forward to perfectly groomed pistes, excellent mountain gastronomy and legendary après-ski parties.
In the skiing area Samnaun / Ischgl every beginning is easy
Is this your first time on skis? No problem - the flat pistes on the Musella slope are the ideal place for your first turns in the snow. You can start directly from the village with the easy platter lift.
For your youngest ones the Kinderland Samnaun right next door is the ideal starting point. Between oversized flowers and magic carpets the skiing adventure can begin.
For more experienced beginners, the Alp Trida is a good place to start. Here you will find many blue pistes, which are also very suitable for beginners.
Fun and action in Kinderland
In the children's land "WinterBlumenTraum" in Samnaun the snow experience for your children begins. Competently supervised by ski instructors your child makes its first turns in the snow and thus learns in a playful way how to ski or snowboard. In this way it lays the perfect foundation for the next step: the conquest of the Samnaun ski area.
More informationBlack - blacker - up to 70% steep!
The Silvretta Ski-Arena Samnaun/Ischgl is an El Dorado for ski enthusiasts: 11 black pistes with 27 kilometres of pistes provide a guaranteed adrenalin rush. The downhill run 14a from the Greitspitz along the "Lange Wand" with a gradient of up to 70% demands everything from the ski professional. Luckily, thanks to the northern slope, the snow is mostly non-slip and only rarely icy. 600 meters of altitude difference fall down the piste towards Höllboden. When you reach the bottom, your thighs burn like hell! At the Palinkopf, Höllenspitze and Pardatschgrat there are other attractive black slopes.
Freeriede-Paradise
If you prefer the challenge of freeriding on unprepared slopes, the 14 kilometres of marked, unprepared downhill routes and the freeride slopes on Piz Val Gronda leave nothing to be desired.
Plan your skiing day already now
Whether you want to make a detour to the black piste 14a or visit the Alp Trida - with the piste plan you can plan your route in advance and enjoy your skiing day in complete relaxation.
Discover piste map nowThe smugglers' tour
Before ski tourism became the main source of income, smuggling was an important business model in Samnaun. Austrian smugglers came across the borders and brought butter, furs and cheese. In return they received coffee, rice, flour, tobacco or even nylon stockings from the Samnaun people. With the smuggler tour you can trace the former routes of the smugglers. Try it out and at the same time discover the whole skiing area.
On the trail of the smugglers
On three different smuggler routes you can discover the ski area Samnaun / Ischgl. The best thing about it: with the App mySamnaun you can track your tour and win great prizes. The whole thing even works offline. So you do not need to worry about roaming costs.
