Helmut Tschiderer originally comes from the neighbouring Tyrol, has lived and worked in Samnaun for many years and is known far beyond the valley. Helmut is a sculptor by passion. This can be seen, for example, in the traces he leaves in Samnaun: whether it be the ibex at the Laret turn-off, a wooden figure in front of the pharmacy in Samnaun Dorf or various works of art in the Hotel Des Alpes.

When he carves down the slopes of Samnaun, people love to watch him. Marco Tumler is a formidable skier. He has been at the start of a World Cup race three times. Today he uses his experience as a junior coach and shows the local children why it is so important to stand centrally above the ski.

She never actually wanted to set foot on the stage. But firstly, things turn out differently, and secondly, than you think. Today, Zita Valsecchi runs the Samnaun theater group, performs in front of audiences year after year and, together with her colleagues, makes guests and locals laugh every week from the end of December to the beginning of April. When she is not in the limelight, the South Tyrolean-born actress delivers the post in the village or is out and about in the natural surroundings of her adopted home of Samnaun.

Christian Hangl is a versatile person who is full of ideas on how to make Samnaun even more attractive. He is committed to a wide range of sports and builds bike trails himself. His main occupation is jeweller and he runs two watch and jewellery shops.
