New Year’s Eve in Samnaun
Ring in the New Year in style: carrying torches, we’ll set off together from the school in Samnaun-Compatsch through the wintry night to Samnaun-Ravaisch and the mountain cable cars. There, a warming bonfire, mulled wine and punch will be waiting for you. At midnight, we’ll celebrate the New Year and raise a glass to 2027 together.
Highlights of New Year’s Eve
- Guided torchlight walk through the winter night (approx. 3 km)
- Route takes you from Samnaun-Compatsch (school) to Samnaun-Ravaisch (mountain cable cars)
- Campfire atmosphere at the mountain cable cars (fire pit)
- Hot drinks: mulled wine and punch
- A group toast at midnight
- Extra bus at 00:30 for the return journey to all hamlets
Important Information
- Meeting point: 10:35 p.m. at the school building in Samnaun-Compatsch (right by the bus stop: Samnaun-Compatsch, Erlebnisbad)
- Programme: The event takes the form of a torchlight walk
- Torches: Organised by Samnaun Tourist Information
- Equipment: Warm clothing and good, winter-suitable footwear are required
- Price: The event is free of charge
- Insurance: This is the responsibility of the participants
- Return journey: Special bus at 00:30 (organised to all hamlets)
Registration required
Participation is free of charge, but registration is required via the link below. As the number of places is limited, we ask that you register as early as possible. A waiting list will be maintained if demand is high.
If, despite having registered, you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that your place can be offered to someone on the waiting list.
