1 August – Keynote speaker in Samnaun in 2026
On 1 August, the Swiss National Day is celebrated throughout Switzerland. Since 1994, Samnaun has invited a prominent personality to give the keynote speech. In 2026, we will welcome Ms Magdalena Martullo-Blocher, National Councillor for the Canton of Graubünden, as keynote speaker in Samnaun.

Magdalena Martullo-Blocher has been the owner and CEO of EMS-CHEMIE for 22 years and a National Councillor for the Canton of Graubünden for 10 years.
EMS is the largest private employer and apprentice trainer in Graubünden and employs over 2,800 people worldwide at 25 production sites in 16 countries. In 2015, Magdalena Martullo was elected to the National Council for the SVP Graubünden. There she is committed to economic and European policy and to good framework conditions for industry, trade, tourism, agriculture and energy policy.
