First on the Snow: Season Kickoff in Samnaun
The 2026/27 winter season kicks off in Samnaun on November 26, 2026. Look forward to your first days of skiing in the cross-border Silvretta Ski Arena Samnaun/Ischgl and to the grand winter opening on November 28, featuring the 5th Smugglers’ Trophy and the free ROCK ANTENNE Winter Opening.
2026/27 Ski Season: Starts November 26
On Thursday, November 26, 2026, the Silvretta Ski Arena Samnaun/Ischgl will kick off the 2026/27 winter season. From Samnaun, you’ll ski in a cross-border ski area spanning Switzerland and Austria.
Two days later, on Saturday, November 28, Samnaun will be all about the winter opening: During the day, the 5th Smugglers’ Trophy will take place, followed in the evening by the free ROCK ANTENNE Winter Opening in Samnaun village. This way, you can combine your first day of skiing with an entire opening weekend.
