Krokus Are Coming to Samnaun: Rock at the 2027 Spring Snow Festival
Krokus Live on Alp Trida
For more than 50 years, Krokus have stood for authentic Swiss hard rock. Founded in 1975, the band is one of Switzerland's most internationally successful rock acts. Their career has been marked by more than 15 million records sold, gold and platinum awards, and tours around the world.
With songs such as "Long Stick Goes Boom", "Screaming in the Night" and "Bedside Radio", Krokus have made Swiss rock history. Today, influential members of the band's history, including singer Marc Storace, guitarist Fernando von Arb and bassist Chris von Rohr, continue to take the stage.
On 24 April, they will bring their unmistakable rock sound to Samnaun. From 1.00 pm, Alp Trida will become a spectacular open-air concert venue.
Combining Skiing and Live Music
What makes the International Spring Snow Festival special is the opportunity to combine a live concert with a day on the slopes. Spend the morning exploring the pistes of the Silvretta Ski Arena Samnaun/Ischgl before enjoying a live performance by Krokus against the impressive mountain backdrop of Alp Trida.
The cross-border ski area connects Samnaun in Switzerland with Ischgl in Austria and offers 239 kilometres of pistes. The 2026/27 winter season runs from 26 November 2026 to 2 May 2027. The Spring Snow Festival therefore takes place during the final weeks of a ski season spanning 158 days.
Admission to the Krokus concert is included in a valid ski pass.
A Long-Standing Concert Tradition in Samnaun
The International Spring Snow Festival has been a highlight of the season finale in Samnaun for decades. Since 1989, numerous renowned Swiss and international artists have performed on Alp Trida, including Status Quo, Die Toten Hosen, Gotthard and Peter Maffay. In 2026, Beatrice Egli thrilled the audience with her performance.
In 2027, the festival will take a rockier turn: Krokus, a band that has helped shape Swiss music history for decades, will headline the 37th International Spring Snow Festival.
