Samnaun Training Slope: Professional Ski Training in the Silvretta Ski Arena Samnaun/Ischgl
This creates an attractive location in the Silvretta Ski Arena Samnaun/Ischgl for training groups, ski clubs and associations who want to train slalom and giant slalom under professional conditions.
Race track no. 69b at the Alp Trida Sattel
The training slope is located on the Swiss side of the Silvretta Ski Arena Samnaun/Ischgl in the ‘Alp Trida Sattel’ area. The course is FIS-approved and is prepared for realistic racing conditions. Starting at 2,465 metres above sea level and finishing at 2,297 metres above sea level, the slope offers a difference in altitude of 168 metres over a length of 626 metres. Thanks to its preparation and icy surface, the race slope is particularly suitable for structured training sessions with poles.
Clearly regulated training operations
Training is linked to daily cable car operations and is clearly regulated. Training usually takes place between 8.30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Trainers use an early ascent at 7.50 a.m., while athletes board from 8.15 a.m.
This is based on binding training regulations issued by Bergbahnen Samnaun, which stipulate, among other things, the cordoning off and securing of the race piste and cooperation in setting up and dismantling the barriers. This ensures that training groups can work efficiently while at the same time guaranteeing safe operation in the ski area.
Package deal for training groups in Samnaun
To make it easy to organise training camps, a package deal has been put together for training groups. In cooperation with partner companies in Samnaun, it includes accommodation and meals as well as a training ski pass and use of the training slope during training hours.
Reservations and contact details
The training slope can be reserved online.
