Beschreibung

From the mountain station Alp Trida Sattel the path first leads comfortably towards Hüttenboden. Edelweiss bloom directly on the rock on the left side of the path near the shepherd's hut. From Hüttenboden it gently ascends to Salaaser Eck and Ravaischer Salaas. The gypsum holes are impressive dolines in the gypsum rock. To the south, on the left below Piz Rots, the Vadret (Sulnerferner) can be seen. At Zeblas the hiking trail crosses the road downhill briefly and then immediately turns right past a hunting hut and a small pond towards Sulnerferner. At the foot of the glacier, you find yourself in a high alpine landscape, framed by Piz Vadret (Sulnerspitz) and the mighty flank of Piz Rots. Then the path leads back over the Zeblas meadows, where you follow the road towards Val Masauna to Samnaun village.

Wegbeschreibung

  • From Alp Trida Sattel to Hüttenboden
  • Continue gently ascending to Salaaser Eck and Ravaischer Salaas
  • At Zeblas briefly cross the road downhill
  • Turn right, past a hunting hut
  • Follow the path towards Sulnerferner
  • At the foot of the glacier go back a little way
  • At the end of the scree field turn right
  • Follow the path towards Zeblaswiesen
  • From Zeblaswiesen follow to Val Musauna and Samnaun village 

Anfahrt

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

  • By Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or from Upper Engadin) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station

  • Hourly connections with the PostAuto, line 921 to Samnaun-Ravaisch, mountain railways

Arrival information

  • From the north: via Landquart - Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains). Then on H27 via Scuol and Martina to Vinadi. At Vinadi junction continue to Samnaun (approx. 1 hour from Vereina south portal)
  • From the east: via Inntalstrasse B180 via Landeck to Pfunds, Kajetansbrücke junction and via Spiss to Samnaun.
  • From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders) on B180 to Pfunds, Kajetansbrücke junction and via Spiss to Samnaun.
