Weingut ADAM MÜLLER
With Matthias, Nathalie and Marcus Müller, the ninth generation of Müllers set out 25 years ago to carry on the family's traditions and yet reinterpret them in their very own way. Marcus Müller began working at the winery in 1996, having previously honed his skills as a technician in France, Australia, Württemberg and as a cellar master in the Palatinate. After completing his studies in Geisenheim, Matthias Müller worked internationally as an oenologist. The segmentation of the wines began when he joined the company in 1997. Together with Marcus Müller, he developed a premium line from the best vineyards and broke new ground in wine development. Since then, the winery has received growing recognition from the trade press. The aim is an understanding of wine that combines modern ideas with traditional values. Wine is created here long before the harvest – in the vineyard, in the cellar, in the mind.
With Leonard (*1999) and Maximilian Müller (*2003), the 10th generation is already ready to continue writing wine history.
Salzl Seewinkelhof Winery
For three generations, the Salzl family has been passionately dedicated to viticulture, combining experience, tradition and a spirit of innovation. With great passion, they produce characterful white, red and sweet wines that reflect the warmth and vastness of the Burgenland region. Zweigelt, in particular, occupies a prominent place in the range, complemented by white wines ranging from fresh and fruity to mineral and complex, as well as top-quality sweet Prädikat wines.
The family’s modern winery is situated amidst the vineyards of Illmitz, on the edge of the Neusiedler See-Seewinkel National Park. The unique natural landscape and the special climate offer ideal conditions for viticulture and shape the wines’ distinctive style. Grandfather Heribert, father Josef and son Christoph Salzl share not only a love for their homeland, but also the conscious decision to turn their passion into a profession.
Whilst the classic wines are matured in stainless steel tanks, the reserve wines age in barrique barrels, where they gain depth and elegance. For the Salzl family, winemaking is far more than a craft – it is the interplay of joy, experience and finesse, enabling them to bring out the ideal expression of every vintage and every grape variety.
Villa Trasqua (IT), Castellina in Chianti
Located in the heart of Tuscany, just outside Siena in the Chianti Classico region, the finest grapes for world-class wines ripen at altitudes of up to 300 metres above sea level. Alongside Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Alicante Bouchet and Vermentino thrive here. The grapes are pressed on site with the utmost care under the supervision of the renowned oenologist Franco Bernabei, also known as ‘Signor Sangiovese’. We are very proud today to be able to compete with the very best producers. Diligence, passion and perfection produce world-class wines.
