Moonlight skiing in Samnaun – night skiing on freshly groomed slopes
This offer is part of the guest programme in the Samnaun holiday region and is aimed at anyone who wants to add a special highlight to their ski holiday in Graubünden.
Ski Experience in the Moonlight
Moonlight skiing begins in the evening at the valley station of the Bergbahnen Samnaun in Samnaun-Ravaisch. The double-decker cable car takes participants comfortably up to Alp Trider Sattel. At the top, the Panorama Restaurant Sattel hosts a cosy hut evening with music and Swiss specialities.
After refreshments, participants head out into the winter night equipped with a headlamp and reflective vest. On freshly groomed slopes, the guided descent follows the valley run down to Samnaun-Laret, accompanied by ski instructors and, on clear nights, the moon above the valley.
Those who wish can extend the evening with a second ride up the mountain and another guided descent.

Who is moonlight skiing suitable for?
Moonlight skiing is suitable for experienced skiers and snowboarders who feel confident on a blue run and can ski in control. Children can take part when accompanied by their parents, provided they can manage slopes 69 and 60 safely.
Headlamps and reflective vests are provided on site. The descents take place exclusively in groups and are guided by ski instructors.
Pedestrians are also welcome: they can take the cable car up, enjoy the evening at the Panorama Restaurant Sattel, and return to the valley at around 8:30 p.m. on the double-decker cable car. This allows non-skiers to experience the special evening atmosphere on the mountain as well.
