Vouchers Samnaun-Laret – Fuorcla Curschiglias
Steeply ascending route through the Compatsch forest to Fuorcla Curschiglias. Beautiful views of the Samnaun valley and Val Sampuoir. Then return the same way.

Beschreibung
The route begins with a steady ascent from Samnaun-Laret (1700 m). After crossing the Schergenbach, the forest road turns left, passing the works yard. At the meadows Clis Grond, the path branches off to Fuorcla Curschiglias (2127 m). Historically, the crossing led into the Val Sampuoir, but there is no longer a trail from here to the neighboring valley. The forest road continues about 500 meters flat to a beautiful viewpoint. From here you enjoy a beautiful panoramic view over the Samnaun valley. The return ride is on the same route back to Samnaun-Laret.

Viewpoints: Along the path there are several picturesque spots inviting you to take photos or have a short rest.

Be considerate when passing and overtaking hikers.
The Grisons mountain bike routes partly run on single trails also marked as hiking paths. Hikers basically have the right of way.

- Start at Samnaun-Laret (1700 m), steeply ascending path
- After crossing Schergenbach, turn left
- Pass the works yard
- At Clis Grond, turn towards Fuorcla Curschiglias (2127 m)
- Return route same as the way to Samnaun-Laret

- By Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or from Upper Engadin) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station
- Further by PostBus (from Scuol-Tarasp or Martina, Cunfin) hourly to PostBus stop Samnaun-Laret, junction
- In Samnaun daily hourly service with the Samnaunbus
Arrival information
- From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains). Then on H27 towards over Scuol and Martina to Vinadi. At the Vinadi junction continue to Samnaun (about 1 hour from Vereina south portal)
- From the east: via the Inn valley road B180 via Landeck to Pfunds, turnoff Kajetansbrücke and via Spiss to Samnaun.
- From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders) on B180 to Pfunds, turnoff Kajetansbrücke and via Spiss to Samnaun.
