Three new 8-seater chairlifts for the Silvretta Arena: greater comfort, technology and sustainability by winter 2026/27
The Silvretta Arena is upgrading: With three new 8-seater D-Line chairlifts, Silvrettaseilbahn AG and its partners are investing around 50 million euros in the further expansion of the cross-border Samnaun/Ischgl ski area. The state-of-the-art facilities will be gradually put into operation by the 2026/27 winter season with the aim of significantly improving comfort, efficiency and sustainability.

A mountain bike skill loop was created in Samnaun in September 2025. Along sections of the valley trail (trail no. 22), the practice course teaches the most important basic techniques of mountain biking; instructional videos can be accessed directly at the stations via QR code.
