Two new chairlifts in the Silvretta Ski-Arena Samnaun/Ischgl

Start of construction 18.7.2025
At the end of the 2024/25 winter season, the Höllboden C1 chairlift and the Sassgalun C3 chairlift were dismantled. These lifts will be rebuilt in the Tyrolean ski resorts of See im Paznaun and Fieberbrunn.
The top station of the new Höllboden lift will be built around 500m east of the Idalp at a new location between pistes 10 and 11, just above the Idalp. The swivel of the planned Höllbodenbahn and the new positioning of the mountain station opposite the existing Höllboden 8-seater chairlift should ensure that the crossing of winter sports enthusiasts in the area of the Höllboden/Idalp mountain station is significantly improved. Among other things, two new crossing supports had to be erected for this purpose.
Concrete work on the new valley station building at Höllboden is in full swing. At the beginning of July 2025, the last support foundations were concreted by helicopter and the cable car technology was delivered and assembly of the Höllboden and Sassgalunbahn mountain station cable car technology began.
