Beschreibung
Take the double-decker train up to Alp Trider Sattel, the starting point of the hike. In about an hour, you reach Alp Bella via the alpine road through Alp Trida, where you can stop at the herder family. From here, the hiking path leads over alpine meadows upward towards Grübelekopf. Along the way, you pass the rock formation "by the churches." Here you can literally see the "Alpine fold"; the curved rock formation looks like a huge church window. The last 100 meters of elevation are climbed via the steep path to the summit. The summit lies on the Swiss-Austrian border and offers beautiful views of the surrounding alpine valleys and mountains. The descent follows the same path back to Alp Trida, from where the chairlift to the saddle can be used.

The route was rated under favorable weather conditions; current weather conditions and forecasts must be strictly observed before starting the hike. This hike requires basic alpine experience, orientation skills; hiking boots are recommended.

- By the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or from Oberengadin) hourly to Scuol-Tarasp station
- Further by PostBus (from Scuol-Tarasp or Martina, Cunfin) hourly to PostBus stop Samnaun-Ravaisch, mountain lifts
- In Samnaun, hourly daytime service with the Samnaun bus to PostBus stop Samnaun-Ravaisch, mountain lifts
Arrival information
- From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina Tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains). Then on H27 towards Scuol and Martina to Vinadi. At the Vinadi junction to Samnaun (approx. 1 hour from Vereina south portal)
- From the east: via the Inn Valley road B180 via Landeck to Pfunds, junction Kajetansbrücke and via Spiss to Samnaun-Ravaisch.
- From the south: via Reschen Pass (Nauders) on B180 to Pfunds, junction Kajetansbrücke and via Spiss to Samnaun-Ravaisch.
