Beschreibung

From the stop «Samnaun-Ravaisch, Dorf» you go along a field path to Ravaischa. The ascent via the hiking trail is steep and partially secured with ropes up to the terrain level "Fuorcla." The hiking trail passes directly by Samnaun's local mountain, the Piz Ot. In the valley basin of the Ravaischer Salaas, it then goes gently uphill towards Salaaser Eck, here the panorama opens towards the Ötztal Alps in the east. From here, you descend slightly towards Hüttenboden. After the herders' hut, you can find blooming edelweiss on the limestone rocks on the left side of the path. From Hüttenboden, a path leads to Alp Trider Sattel, the mountain station of the double-decker cable car.

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

Hourly with the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Landquart/Prättigau or from the Upper Engadine) to Scuol-Tarasp station

Then hourly with the PostBus (from Scuol-Tarasp or Martina, Cunfin) to the PostBus stop Samnaun Dorf, Riva

In Samnaun, hourly service during the day by the Samnaun bus to the PostBus stop Samnaun Dorf, Riva

Arrival information

From the north: via Landquart – Klosters by car shuttle through the Vereina Tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains). Then on H27 towards Scuol and Martina to Vinadi. At the Vinadi junction to Samnaun (about 1 hour from the Vereina south portal)

From the east: via the Inn valley road B180 via Landeck to Pfunds, Kajetansbrücke junction and via Spiss to Samnaun.

From the south: via Reschen Pass (Nauders) on B180 to Pfunds, Kajetansbrücke junction and via Spiss to Samnaun.
