Vacation in Samnaun

On March 20 and 21, 2026, Samnaun Music Days will bring live music to several locations in Samnaun – to the ski resort and various restaurants in the valley. Admission is free, and the format is aimed at day visitors, weekend guests, and locals, combining music, snow sports, and alpine atmosphere into a varied spring event in Samnaun.

Samnaun skier Thomas Tumler delivered a strong performance in the Olympic giant slalom, finishing in 4th place — just 0.28 seconds short of the podium.

Bergbahnen Samnaun AG is expanding its range of sporting activities in a targeted manner: the Samnaun Snow Sports Club (SSC Samnaun) is establishing a training slope for alpine skiing teams on slope no. 69b at the Alp Trida Sattel.

The Silvretta Ski Arena Samnaun/Ischgl is officially one of the best ski resorts in the Alps. Skiresort.de, which claims to be the world's largest test portal for ski resorts, awarded the cross-border ski resort 5 stars in its test report dated November 28, 2025, and honored it with 19 awards. For guests planning their skiing holidays in Samnaun in Graubünden, this is a strong confirmation of quality.

On 2 May 2026 at 1 p.m., the Silvretta Ski Arena on the Idalp will celebrate an unforgettable sound experience – the closing concert of the 2025/26 season.

The Silvretta Arena is upgrading: With three new 8-seater D-Line chairlifts, Silvrettaseilbahn AG and its partners are investing around 50 million euros in the further expansion of the cross-border Samnaun/Ischgl ski area. The state-of-the-art facilities will be gradually put into operation by the 2026/27 winter season with the aim of significantly improving comfort, efficiency and sustainability.  

On 5 April 2026 at 1 p.m., the Silvretta Arena on the Idalp will celebrate the Easter weekend with a musical highlight in a class of its own.

Beatrice Egli will perform on Saturday, 25 April 2026, at 1 p.m. at the 36th International Spring Snow Festival on Alp Trida in Samnaun.

A mountain bike skill loop was created in Samnaun in September 2025. Along sections of the valley trail (trail no. 22), the practice course teaches the most important basic techniques of mountain biking; instructional videos can be accessed directly at the stations via QR code. The course is aimed at beginners and slightly advanced riders. 

From August 21 to 23, 2026, Samnaun will once again be welcoming its most loyal guests to the popular Regular Guest Weekend with a new concept.

The Höllboden C1 chairlift and the Sassgalun C3 chairlift will be renewed for the coming 2025/26 winter season.
